Acceptable Use Policy

1. Who We Are

We are Namio Enterprises LLC ("Company," "we," "us," "our"), a company registered in Minnesota, United States, at 1711 County Road E East, Apartment 402, White Bear Lake, MN 55110. We operate the website https://zovuapp.com (the "Site") and the mobile application Zovu (the "App"), as well as related products/services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Use of the Services

When you use the Services, you warrant that you will comply with this Policy and all applicable laws. You also acknowledge that you may not:

• Systematically retrieve data or content from the Services to create or compile a collection, compilation, database, or directory without our written permission.
• Make unauthorized use of the Services, including collecting usernames/emails for unsolicited email, or creating accounts by automated means or false pretenses.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Services.
• Engage in unauthorized framing of or linking to the Services.
• Trick, defraud, or mislead us or other users, especially to learn sensitive account information like passwords.
• Make improper use of our support services or submit false reports of abuse/misconduct.
• Engage in any automated use of the Services (scripts, data mining, robots, or similar data gathering/extraction tools).
• Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Services or connected networks.
• Attempt to impersonate another user or use another user's username.
• Use information obtained from the Services to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• Use the Services to compete with us or for any revenue-generating endeavor/commercial enterprise.
• Decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any Services software, except as permitted by law.
• Attempt to bypass any measures designed to prevent or restrict access to the Services.
• Harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten our employees or agents.
• Delete copyright or other proprietary rights notices from any Content.
• Copy or adapt the Services' software (Flash, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, or other code).
• Upload or transmit viruses, Trojan horses, or other harmful material, including excessive capital letters/spamming.
• Upload or transmit passive/active information collection mechanisms (gifs, 1×1 pixels, web bugs, cookies, spyware, etc).
• Use automated systems (spiders, robots, cheat utilities, scrapers, offline readers) except standard search engine/browser use.
• Disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm us and/or the Services in our opinion.
• Use the Services in a manner inconsistent with applicable laws or regulations.
• Sell or otherwise transfer your profile.

Subscriptions

If you subscribe to our Services, you may not, except if expressly permitted:

• Modify, copy, redistribute, publish, display, perform, or retransmit any portion of the Services without our prior written consent.
• Reconstruct or attempt to discover source code or algorithms of the Services by any means.
• Provide or make the Services available to any third party.
• Intercept any data not intended for you.
• Damage, reveal, or alter any user's data, or any hardware/software/information relating to another person or entity.
• Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or misuse Jazzy (the AI assistant) to generate content outside the intended purpose of meal planning and cooking guidance.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or data-harvesting tools to extract recipes, meal plans, user data, or any content from the Zovu platform.
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized third parties to access your Zovu account.
• Misrepresent dietary restrictions, allergen information, or food safety data in ways that could cause harm to other users.
• Use the platform to collect or harvest personal information about other users without their explicit consent.

3. AI Products

When you use the AI Products provided by Namio Enterprises LLC, you warrant that you will not:

• Deploy AI techniques that use subliminal, manipulative, or deceptive methods designed to distort behavior and impair informed decision-making, particularly causing significant harm.
• Exploit vulnerabilities related to age, disability, or socio-economic circumstances through AI to distort behavior/decision-making, especially if resulting in significant harm.
• Use AI systems for biometric categorization inferring sensitive attributes (race, political opinions, union membership, religious/philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation), except in limited lawful cases.
• Implement AI-based social scoring systems classifying individuals/groups based on social behavior or personal traits in a way that causes harm, discrimination, or unfair treatment.
• Assess criminal-offense risk based solely on profiling, personality traits, or other non-behavioral factors, except in narrowly defined legally-safeguarded circumstances.
• Compile facial recognition databases through untargeted scraping of facial images from the internet, social media, or CCTV, unless legally compliant and narrowly purposed.
• Use AI to infer emotions in sensitive environments (workplaces, educational institutions, etc) where it could lead to discrimination, unfair treatment, or privacy violations.
• Engage in real-time remote biometric identification in public places for law enforcement, except with strong legal justification and oversight.

4. Community/Forum Guidelines

Users of Zovu agree to the following when sharing recipes, ratings, reviews, or any content within the platform:

1. Be Respectful — treat other users with kindness. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discriminatory language of any kind is strictly prohibited.
2. Keep it food related — content should be relevant to meal planning, recipes, cooking, and food. Off-topic promotional content or spam is not permitted.
3. No harmful content — do not share recipes, content, or advice that could cause physical harm, including dangerous diets, allergen misrepresentation, or unsafe food handling.
4. Honest reviews — recipe ratings/reviews must reflect genuine personal experience. Fake, manipulated, or incentivized reviews are prohibited.
5. Respect intellectual property — only share recipes/content you have the right to share. Do not copy copyrighted recipes from other sources without proper attribution.
6. No misuse of Jazzy — users may not attempt to manipulate Jazzy into generating harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content. Jazzy is a kitchen assistant and should be used as such.
7. No commercial solicitation — Zovu is a personal-use platform. Users may not use community features to advertise, sell products, or solicit other users commercially.
8. Violations — Zovu reserves the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these community guidelines without prior notice.

5. Artificial Intelligence

We recognize the significant impact AI can have on our users and society, and are dedicated to ensuring our AI Products are designed and operated in line with comprehensive ethical standards, upholding fairness, transparency, and accountability. This Policy applies to all AI-powered features/services/systems in our Services, governing their development, deployment, and use to protect users' rights and maintain transparency, and applies to all employees, third-party vendors, and partners who contribute to or interact with our AI Products.

Enforcement

Any misuse of our AI Products or failure to adhere to this Policy will result in appropriate action to protect platform integrity and users. Consequences vary with severity/history and may include violations such as: privacy violations, data manipulation, disregarding ethical guidelines, or violating AI Service Providers' terms of use; deploying AI introducing bias leading to unfair treatment; improper handling/storage/use of data breaching user trust/legal compliance; using AI to compromise system/data/user privacy and security.

Possible actions: Warnings; Temporary Suspension; Termination of Access; Legal Action (including reporting to law enforcement/regulators); Public Disclosure for incidents impacting public trust or involving severe ethical breaches.

Commitment to responsible AI

Beyond consequences, we are committed to repairing any harm caused by AI misuse, correcting biased outcomes, and implementing additional safeguards. We will regularly review and update this Policy to reflect technological advancements and legal changes in AI regulation at the local, national, and international level.

6. Contributions

"Contributions" means any data, information, software, text, code, music, scripts, sound, graphics, photos, videos, tags, messages, interactive features, or other materials you post/share/upload/submit on or through the Services, or any other content/materials/data you provide to Namio Enterprises LLC or use with the Services.

We may but are under no obligation to review or moderate Contributions, and expressly exclude liability for any loss/damage from users' breach of this Policy. Please report any Contribution you believe breaches this Policy — we determine, in our sole discretion, whether it does.

You warrant that: you are the creator/owner or have necessary licenses/rights/consents/releases/permissions to use and authorize us and other users to use your Contributions as contemplated; your Contributions comply with applicable laws and are original/true; the creation/distribution/access/download/copying of your Contributions does not infringe any third party's proprietary rights (copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, moral rights); and you have verifiable consent/release/permission of each identifiable individual in your Contributions to use their name/likeness as contemplated.

You agree not to post/transmit/upload any Contribution that: breaches applicable laws, regulation, court order, contractual obligation, this Policy, our Legal Terms, a legal duty, or promotes/facilitates fraud or illegal activities; is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, insulting, intimidating, bullying, abusive, or threatening to any person/group; is false, inaccurate, or misleading; includes child sexual abuse material or violates any law protecting minors; solicits personal information from or exploits anyone under 18; promotes violence, advocates violent overthrow of government, or incites/encourages/threatens physical harm; is obscene/lewd/lascivious/filthy/violent/harassing/libelous/slanderous/sexually explicit or otherwise objectionable; is discriminatory based on race/sex/religion/nationality/disability/sexual orientation/age; bullies/intimidates/humiliates/insults any person; promotes or facilitates acts of terrorism; infringes a third party's intellectual property/publicity/privacy rights; misrepresents your identity or affiliation, or misleads about your relationship with us, or implies the Contribution was made by someone else; contains unsolicited/unauthorized paid advertising, promotional materials, pyramid schemes, chain letters, spam, or mass mailings; or misrepresents who the Contribution is from.

7. Reviews and Ratings

When your Contribution is a review or rating, you also agree that: you have firsthand experience with the recipes being reviewed; your Contribution is true to your experience; you are not affiliated with competitors if posting negative reviews (or linked to a product/service if posting positive ones); you cannot offer conclusions on the legality of conduct; you cannot post false or misleading statements; and you will not organize a campaign encouraging others to post reviews, positive or negative.

8. Reporting a Breach of This Policy

We may but are under no obligation to review or moderate Contributions, and expressly exclude liability for any loss/damage resulting from users' breach of this Policy.

If you consider any Service, Content, or Contribution breaches this Policy, please email henry@zovuapp.com, explaining which Service/Content/Contribution is in breach and why — or refer to the contact details at the bottom of this document. To report intellectual-property infringement, email henry@zovuapp.com. Users can also send detailed feedback on AI interactions by emailing henry@zovuapp.com, including specific details (context, nature of concern, relevant screenshots/documentation). We will reasonably determine whether a Service, Content, or Contribution breaches this Policy.

9. Consequences of Breaching This Policy

Consequences vary with severity of breach and the user's history on the Services. We may give a warning and/or remove the infringing Contribution; if the breach is serious or continued, we have the right to suspend or terminate your access and, if applicable, disable your account. We may also notify law enforcement or issue legal proceedings when we believe there is a genuine risk to an individual or threat to public safety. We exclude our liability for all action we may take in response to breaches of this Policy.

10. Complaints and Removal of Legitimate Content

If you believe Content or a Contribution was mistakenly removed or blocked, please refer to the contact details at the bottom of this document and we will promptly review our decision. The Content/Contribution may stay down while we conduct the review process.

Zovu monitors user-generated content (recipes, reviews, ratings, comments) to ensure compliance with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and this Policy. Our content moderation process:

1. Automated monitoring — Zovu uses automated tools to detect content violating our policies (spam, prohibited activities, harmful content).
2. User reporting — users may flag content via the in-app reporting feature; all reports are reviewed promptly.
3. Human review — flagged content is reviewed by Zovu's team; violating content is removed and the responsible user is notified.
4. Account action — depending on severity/frequency, Zovu may issue warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent terminations.
5. Appeals — users who believe their content was removed in error may appeal by contacting henry@zovuapp.com with subject line "Content Appeal."
6. No Guarantee — while Zovu makes reasonable efforts to monitor user-generated content, we do not guarantee all violating content will be identified and removed immediately.

11. Disclaimer

Namio Enterprises LLC is under no obligation to monitor users' activities and disclaims responsibility for any user's misuse of the Services. We have no responsibility for any user or other Content/Contribution created, maintained, stored, transmitted, or accessible on or through the Services, and are not obligated to monitor or exercise editorial control over such material. If we become aware that any Content/Contribution violates this Policy, we may, in addition to removing it and blocking your account, report the breach to police or appropriate regulatory authority. Unless otherwise stated, we disclaim any obligation to any person who has not entered into an agreement with us for use of the Services.
